Kitchen Upgrade
This circa 1972 single-family house had a kitchen with harvest gold appliances, birch-tone paneling and dark wood trim. Following installation of luxury vinyl planking to include the living room, an island was built with a light quartz countertop to match the adjacent new counters. Satin stainless steel was chosen for the metal finishes.
Gypsum wallboard replaced paneling on the walls and a buttery paint was applied. Under counter lighting and a new window above the sink to brighten the space. The shaded brown/gray flooring complements dark blue cabinets and the light walls.
